Dutch-Bangla Bank awarded scholarships to the meritorious students alongwith 5 physically disabled students who passed SSC Examination in 2009 and studying at HSC level in different colleges of the country. All the awardees will get scholarships for their full academic period. Dr. Atiur Rahman, Governor, Bangladesh Bank was present as the Chief Guest and handed over the scholarship Awarding Letters to the recipients in a simple ceremony held at Hotel Purbani International, Dhaka on March 18, 2010. Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of DBBL presided over the function. Mr. Md. Yeasin Ali, Managing Director and Mr. Md. Sayedul Hasan, Deputy Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank also spoke on the occasion. University teachers, educationists, representatives from NGOs and senior executives of Dutch-Bangla Bank were present at the function.
