DBBL has signed an agreement with Banglalink on Mobile banking services

DBBL has signed an agreement with Banglalink at the Board Room of Banglalink office. Mr. Ahmed Abou Doma, CEO& Managing Director of Banglalink and Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd. signed the agreement collaborating Banglalink and Dutch-Bangla Bank.

As per the agreement, selected Banglalink distribution outlets will be used as Dutch-Bangla Bank’s Cash Points. In addition to Dutch-Bangla Bank’s existing locations, through the large number of Cash Points of Banglalink, DBBL mobile account holders will be able to register, deposit and withdraw money. Besides, DBBL mobile account holders will also be able to access the mobile banking platform for any transactions using the Banglalink mobile through this easy, convenient and secured channel.

This signed agreement will allow access for the unbanked population at large to use Dutch- Bangla Bank mobile-banking services with greater ease through Banglalink channel.

Amongst others, the Dutch-Bangla Bank officials present at the signing ceremony was, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Shirin: Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Abul Kashem Khan: Head of IT & Mr. Mir Mominul Huq: Head of Mobile Banking Division, Banglalink officials who were also present at the signing ceremony were Mr. Asher Yaqub Khan, CCO, Mr. Shihab Ahmad, Marketing Director, Mr. Solaiman Alam, Head of PR & Communications and M- Commerce and Mr. K M Zakaria, Head of Treasury amongst others.
