Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) donated ambulance to Laxmipur Diabetic Hospital. The hospital has been serving the diabetic patients since its inception in 1998 under the aegis of Diabetic Samity, Laxmipur. Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors handed over the Key of the ambulance to Mr. Md. Zihadul Karim, President of Diabetic Samity, Laxmipur at a simple event held at Bank’s Head Office, Dhaka on January 07, 2013.

DBBL’s support in providing ambulance at a cost of Tk. 17.70 lac is part of it’s broader commitment in social causes; to help emergency transportation of critical patients to get quick and better medical services.

Mr. Zihadul Karim expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Bank and added that, this ambulance would help shifting the critical patients to Dhaka or Chittagong diabetic hospital on urgent basis.

The event was also attended by Mr. Md. Firoz Alam, Ex-President and Mr. Md. Delwar Hossain, General Secretary of Diabetic Samity, Laxmipur, Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Shirin and Mr. Md. Sayedul Hasan, Deputy Managing Directors of Dutch-Bangla Bank.
