As a part of DBBL’s social cause activities to serve the distressed humanity, Dutch-Bangla Bank organized an IOL operation camp (cataract operation) free of cost for the poor patients at a hospital in Dhaka under the supervision of Doctors for Under-privilege Children.

Under this IOL operation camp a total of 200 cataract patients were operated by a team of Surgeons headed by eminent eye specialist Dr. Md. Sanwar Hossain and Dr. Md. Bosir Uddin.

Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank visited the operation camp and inquired about the patients operated at the hospital on January 08, 2013. While exchanging views, the Managing Director mentioned that DBBL is making every efforts for social causes by carrying out various social and philanthropic activities in various fields like, education, health-care, etc.
