Dutch-Bangla Bank and Stamford University Bangladesh signed an Agreement for e-Payment of student fees through DBBL Internet Payment Gateway

Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) and Stamford University Bangladesh have signed an agreement on March 19, 2013 for e-Payment of student fees through DBBL Internet Payment Gateway by using DBBL Nexus Debit Card, MasterCard & Visa card. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Lutfor Rahman, Treasurer, Stamford University Bangladesh and Mr. Md. Kamruzzaman, Head of Personal Banking Division, DBBL on behalf of their respective organizations.

 

Under this agreement, the students of Stamford University or their guardians will able to pay various educational fees including tution fee through Internet sitting in their home. The Students will not require to carry cash to the university for payment. A website designed and hosted by the university will have all the fee details for each of the students including paid/ not-paid status. This website has a link with the DBBL Internet Payment Gateway through which the bank will accept card information, collect money from the card or related account, and deposit to the university account instantly.

 

Professor Dr. K. Maudood Elahi, Vice Chancellor and Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank and other executives from both the organizations were also present on the occasion.
