Under the Smile-Brighter program, Dutch-Bangla Bank organized a 2-day long plastic surgery operation campaign at bank’s own cost at ‘Yamagata Dhaka Friendship Hospital’ in the City for the poor cleft-lipped boys and girls to bring back the endearing smile on their faces. The two-day operation campaign ended on April 23, 2014. A total of 34 boys and girls were operated upon by an eminent plastic surgeon Dr. Shareef Hasan. Mr. Md. Sayedul Hasan, Deputy Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank visited the operation camp and inquired about the cleft-lipped patients at the hospital.
