As a part of DBBL’s social cause activities to serve the distressed humanity, Dutch-Bangla Bank has been organizing cataract operation camp (IOL) at free of cost for the underprivileged blind patients since 2008. DBBL continues this cataract operation program across the country round the year. In continuation of this program, DBBL organized a cataract operation camp at BNSB Dhaka Eye Hospital, Mirpur, Dhaka where around 100 patients are being operated under the supervision of a team of eye specialists and surgeons headed by eminent eye specialist and Chief Consultant of BNSB Dr. Mohammad Ali Ahsan.

Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank visited the operation camp and inquired about the patients operated at the hospital on January 13, 2016. Among others, Prof. Khaleda Khanam, General Secretary of BNSB and Prof. Dr. A. A. Mohiuddin, Medical Director of BNSB were also present at the event.
