In addition to Tk. 1 crore already donated to the Hon’able Chief Adviser’s Relief & Rehabilitation Fund, DBBL donated 25 thousand blankets worth Tk. 55 lac and cash Tk. 50 lac to ‘Bangladesh Army Relief Fund’ for distribution among the ‘SIDR’ affected distressed people of the costal area. Mr. Abul Hasnat Md. Rashidul Islam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DBBL handed over a sample of blanket and a Payment order for Tk. 50,00,000/- (Taka fifty lac) to General Moeen U Ahmed, the Chief of Army Staff on November 25, 2007 at Army Headquarters, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka. Mr. Md. Yeasin Ali, Managing Director of the bank was also present.
