Banglalink, a leading telecommunication service provider, signed an MOU with Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL), a leading technologically advanced bank on 18 May, 2010 at Banglalink’s head office in the city. This formalized the relationship, collaboration and cooperation between the parties. By this signing, both the parties agreed to collaborate with each other to launch mobile financial services and take them closer to the door steps of the customers. Banglalink’s Managing Director & CEO Mr. Ahmed Abou Doma and DBBL’s  Managing Director Mr. Md. Yeasin Ali signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

During the signing ceremony Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Shirin, Deputy Managing Director of DBBL and Mr. Asher Yakub Khan, Chief Commercial Officer, Mr.  Shihab Ahmed, Marketing Durector, Mr. Solaiman Alam, Head of Mobile Financial Services, Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed and Accounting Controller of Banglalink and other high officials from both the organizations were also present at the ceremony.
