Mr. Sayem Ahmed has been elected Chairman of Dutch-Bangla Bank at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank held on 7^th April, 2014. Mr. Ahmed is a sponsor director of the Bank and was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board. He is director of a number of renowned textile and spinning industries of the country.

He has completed his Bachelors of Software Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the same University.
