Dutch-Bangla Bank has been awarded for its significant contribution to the society by providing scholarship to the poor & meritorious students of the country at the 1st International Conference on Digital Education held at University of Dhaka on September 02, 2015. The conference was jointly organized by Center on Budget and Policy, University of Dhaka and BacBon Foundation, a non-govt. development organization working to promote social development in the country.

Hon’ble Education Minister Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, M.P. attended the program as chief guest. Hon’ble Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Atiur Rahman attended the program as special guest and H.E. Mr. Masato Watanabe, Ambassador of Japan attended as guest of honor.

Hon’ble Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Atiur Rahman handed over the award to Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman, Board of Directors of Dutch-Bangla Bank.

Prof. A. A. M. S. Arefin Siddique, Vice-Chancellor, University of Dhaka inaugurated the conference.

A large number of key note speakers from both home and abroad participated in the conference.
