The Closing and Prize Distribution ceremony of 6^th Dutch-Bangla Bank Golf Tournament-2016 was held on March 19, 2016 at Shaheen Golf and Country Club Patenga, Chittagong. The program was organized by Shaheen Golf and Country Club, Patenga, Chittagong and sponsored by Dutch-Bangla Bank. Chief of Air Staff, Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the prizes amongst the Winners. Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank was present on the occasion as Special Guest. Among others, senior officers of Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force were present on the occasion.

Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc, Chief of Air Staff expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to DBBL for sponsoring the tournament for the 6^th consecutive year. He also lauded the role of DBBL in providing innovative technology based banking services at the door-steps of the clientele.

Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of DBBL congratulated the winners of the event. He added that, Dutch-Bangla Bank being a unique banking institution has made a name for itself by way of carrying out diverse socio-cultural activities in the country.

In the competition Wg Cdr Md. Jahangir Alam Talukder became winner while Mr. Architect Muzahid Beg became runner up in 18 hole category. Mr. Showkat Ali Talukder became winner while Wg Cdr A H M Mostafa Morshed became runner up in 23-24 handicap category. Mrs. Sharmin Jahangir became winner while Mrs. Sohana Sultana became runner up in Ladies category. Master Mahir Muntasir became winner while Master Wasi became runner up in Junior category.
