Recognizing the effort and the achievement in providing solutions for the unbanked, the Asian Banker has awarded DBBL and its solution partner SAP for their best Mobile Banking Initiative award.

Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Executive Committee of DBBL and Mr. Mathew Talbot, Senior Vice President of Sybase Mobile Commerce Division (a SAP Company) received the award on 26 April in Bangkok, Thailand.

DBBL mobile banking offers ubiquitous, safe and transparent financial services through the largest and most affordable system. Its expanding features currently include large and small scale salary disbursements, instant money transfers between phones, cash deposit & withdrawal, foreign remittance, moreover all banking facilities with a bank.
