To cater to the needs of its consumers for pay bill online through internet, Dhaka WASA, the service oriented organization provides water, drainage and sanitation service to the people of Dhaka and other major cities, has introduced a new and robust website www.dwasa.org.bd

Currently the consumers are paying their bills in bank’s counter by standing in a long queue. To facilitate the consumer to pay the bill without going to the bank counter, Dhaka WASA has selected Dutch-Bangla Bank to link up its website with DBBL’s 3D secured Payment Gateway known as “Nexus Gateway”.

With this integration of Dhaka WASA with the Nexus Gateway, consumers can use DBBL Nexus Debit Card, VISA card and MasterCard (debit or credit) to pay Dhaka WASA bill through internet.

To effect this, Dhaka WASA and Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) signed an agreement on October 09, 2013 at Pacn Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. Honorable State Minister for Science & Technology Architect Yeafesh Osman graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Mrs. Zuena Aziz, Additional Secretary, Local Govt. Division of the Ministry of LGRD&C and Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of DBBL were present as special guest.

The agreement was signed by Engr. Taqsem A Khan, Managing Director Dhaka WASA and Mr. K. S. Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank on behalf of their respective organizations.
